Overview:
He/she, under a Control Manager direction, implements control procedures, operates control data and prepares all kinds of control statements and reports.
He/she is responsible for managing and communicating information within the institution control duties.He/she will play an integral and key role in the production and reporting of information within the Office of the Controller department.
Responsibilities:
Key action areas:
- Provide analyses, projections and presentations of financial reports.
- Prepare detailed profitability and KPI's analysis.
- Carry out budgeting control and management control of programs and departments of the company.
- Operation and improvement of control systems and procedures.
- Help to create accounting and narrative statements or reports requiring sound interpretation of data.
- Ensure processes that guarantee quality of information.
- Communicate all kind of control information to organization.
- Participate and cooperate with control staff and systems analysts to implement and improve automated control systems.
Qualifications:
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field.
- Master's degree in Management, Accounting or related field or experience with accounting firms is desired.
- Fluency and proficiency in professional English (C1 level or above) and Spanish.
- Minimum 34 years of experience.
- Knowledge of control/business analysis techniques and generally accepted accounting practise.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, building Data Models in Power Query and Power BI.
- Experience with ERPs: Microsoft Dynamics or other financial reporting tools is desired.
- Experience in data management and big data tools, analytics and control will be considered.
- Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
- Organizational skills and ability to multitask, prioritize, and successfully meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate with internal clients and train staff, organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
