Required education and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related area.
  • 12 years of experience as an HR assistant in HR development preferably.


  • Bilingual in English

  • Spanish. French will be an asset.
  • Highly computer literate with capability in Excel, MS Office and HR related software's.
  • Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
  • Effective HR administration skills and ability to accurately follow instructions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong people management and interpersonal skills.
  • Fantastic organizational and time management skills to meet tight deadlines.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Be able to work autonomously and as team member.

Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Assist with daytoday operations of the HR functions and duties.
  • Provide administrative support to the department such as employee database, process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (training, performance, etc.).
  • Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies).
  • Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations. Ensure smooth communication and timely resolution to their queries.
  • Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, leaves, etc.).
