We are looking for a motivated, self-confident, professional person who is eager to contribute to our mission of supporting the ELT sector, helping us
in the Barcelona area to increase our presence in Private language schools, through a consultative sales approach.
This is a very varied position, where you will be doing a wide variety of tasks, such as prospecting for potential new clients, loyalty visits, product presentations and services to a Private language school staff, as well as negotiating commercial conditions in a school or taking part in an education fair/event to raise awareness of our brand.
Some of your main responsibilities will include:
- Selling Macmillan's educational products and solutions, managing the entire sales cycle with current and potential customers (from lead generation and/or lead identification to closing deals and contracts).
- Manage the relationship with clients, analysing their needs, offering them the most appropriate solution, and building customer loyalty.
- Designing personalised commercial plans for each client, providing value and including a complete strategy for a complete strategy on the different variables in the business (prices, promotions, advertising collaborations, payment conditions, etc.), advertising collaborations, payment conditions, etc).
- Defend and negotiate commercial plans, adjusting them to the needs of clients, but without neglecting the needs of the business itself.
- Participate in the generation of new approaches, solutions and business ideas.
Necessary requirements:
- Experience not essential, but experience of at least 3 years performing similar functions would be an asset (desirable in the education sector).
- Higher education.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Bilingual in English language essential.
- Catalan (intermediate level).
- B1 driving licence
- Knowledge of the publishing sector and the Spanish education system is desirable.
