Key Responsibilities:

Our client is evolving its current corporate data platform to a new Data Platform on Microsoft Azure.

This new data platform will cover the needs arising within the new Strategic Plan and as a base platform for the traditional data solutions and for the Big Data and Analytics use cases that were currently being developed on the Stratio platform and that they want to unify with the rest of the developments on the new platform.


You will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Participate in Azure technical meetings/workshops.
  • Analyze existing documentation, current architecture, as well as, at a high level, data domains.
  • Suggest recommendations on Azure objects based on use cases.
  • Elaborate best practices, standards and component lifecycle methodology.
  • Coordinate and ensure the quality of deliverables on the Azure platform.

3. Job Requirements

Essential Skills:


Primary Skills:

  • Python 3 and Spark proficiency
  • Big Data Architectures in cloud or onpremise (S3, HDFS...).
  • Good knowledge of ETL, ELT.
  • Relational Databases proficiency is a must
  • Azure (Functions, ADLS, Synapse, DataFactory)
  • GIT versions management
- "Data analysis" and "Data wrangling" with Python: Pandas, Matpotlib, Numpy....

  • Spanish speaker (native or C2 level)

Secondary Skills:

  • Experience in multicultural and international working environments.
  • Specific knowledge of a specific sector (Banking, Insurance, Telco, etc).

Nice to Have Skills.


Nice to have:

  • Azure certificacions.
  • Agile Methodologies.
  • QueryBuilders (PyPika).
  • SQLAlchemy and Pandas Dataframes
  • PostgreSQL.
