Local Unit & Position Description:

  • To enable Energy Systems to achieve its strategic ambitions and become future fit, we need leaders who drive business operations to meet customers' expectations while also continuously improving the way we work. Region Southern Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin America is therefore seeking the Head of Project Controlling._
  • The Head of Project Controlling is part of the regional F&P leadership team and reports to the regional Finance & Performance manager. The Head of Project Controlling is responsible for managing the (virtual) team of Project Controllers and Project Administrators, implementing and enforcing policies and procedures in line with BA Center governance, streamlining the projecttoinvoice processes. The person in this role is a team builder who has the proven ability to engage with staff in a collaborative and supportive manner. This position requires strong process and system knowledge focusing on high quality of delivery within an efficient process environment. _

Primary tasks of this role:

- _ Implements and drive change in the Project-to
  • Invoice organization_
- _ Collaborates with BA Centre governance to improve the global Project-to
  • Invoice process_
- _ Ensures project control is established through all units focused on highest impact projects, minimize WIP and optimize timely revenue recognition_
- _ Contributes to global initiatives to support the Project-to
  • Invoice process_
- _ Eagerness to implement and follow standardized global processes while complying with local regulations_
- _ Drives efficiency through streamlining the project setup, invoicing and project controlling process while influencing stakeholders to implement required changes_
- _ Monitors relevant KPIs and initiate required actions_
- _ Plans and implements quality assurance for all processes in alignment with global governance_
- _ Strong problem-solving and customer service skills to support team members_
- _ Actively involves in resolving issues with PMs, Business controllers and GSS teams_
- _ Reviews and provides guidance on project setup and administration including complicated projects (multi-tier)_
- _ Stimulates a high performing culture, sets direction, is output driven and act as a role model for an inspiring employee experience_
- _ Works closely with the Head of FP&A to coordinate the relevant PEC activities_
- _ Works closely with the Business Controllers to optimize DNV's working capital position by minimizing WIP_
- _ Supports business management and PMs in navigating systems and providing relevant training to improve KPI performance_

Position Qualifications:
- _Master degree in Finance or equivalent_
- _ 5-10 years of relevant work experience_
- _ Ability to travel_
