With two shops in Florence, Badiani expanded to the UK in 2015 and now counts nine stores in London and two in Spain. Our greatest passion is to inspire people through our amazing gelato flavours, beautiful spaces and great customer service. Our ambition for 2023 is to further grow our brand in both Spain and the UK
**This will be our first HQ hire for a role in Barcelona The role will report directly to our Head of Business Development in the UK and help contribute and execute concrete ideas to develop our brand identity and business portfolio in Spain. You will identify new business opportunities and make recommendations to our Head of Business Development. You will support our Stores in Spain as and when necessary with Marketing execution and logistics.
Key responsibilities include:
- Analyse and recommend to the Head of Business Development the best possible locations in Spain for future openings
- Developing indepth knowledge of the company offerings to identify profitable business opportunities
- Developing and managing strategic partnerships to grow the business
- Researching potential new leads (restaurants, hotel, deli etc) in Spain and keeping on top of developments in the industry
- Working closely with Ops and Marketing to help align offerings with the needs of clients
- Assisting the Head of Business Dev in researching new products in order to develop a winning crossselling network within all Spanish shops
- Working with crossfunctional stakeholders in the UK Head office and supporting new Store openings in Spain
- Being the point of communication between the Marketing team in the UK and our Marketing agency, specifically for any photoshoots or PR events in Spain.
- Adhoc support for Marketing and logistics in Spain
What were looking for:
- A very good knowledge and understanding of local markets and consumers in Spain
- Established Spanish citizen
- Strong business acumen
- Ability to work autonomously
- 23 years in a similar business development role
- Exceptional communication and relationship building skills
- English spoken and written
