Warranty Implementation Field Engineer

Purpose of the Job:

Technical support for Rolling Stock Reliability Growth through investigations and data analysis.
Technical support for Troubleshooting in order to ensure maximum train availability.

Main Responsibilities:

Support any technical activity on trains during Commissioning, Validation and Certification runs and Warranty.
Interface between workshop team and factory team during warranty phase.
Treatment of customer complaints with rolling stock issues.
Provide support for field modifications.
Contribute to Reliability Growth and Return of Experience.
Analysis of trains failure datalogs.
Feed and analyse relevant failure data base (SAP).
Ensure train configuration control and relevant documentation management.
Guarantee information flow within the depot and project team.

Performance measurements:

Reliability improvement after modification implementation.
Customer acceptance and quality level of implemented modification.
Technical competence and autonomy (duration of intervention).
Quality of problems investigations and relevant documentation.
Compliance with EHS rules and workrelated processes.

Requirements:

Master's degree in Engineering.
35 years of experience in technical knowledge, either mechanical or electrical / electronics.
General railway and product knowledge.
Railway safety & RAM.
EHS knowledge.
Fluent English.
Ability to manage technical data.
Ability to provide support for field modifications.
Knowledge in using relevant information system (RailSys, GSI).
