Job Description:

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Junior Oracle DBA Administrator and Automation Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our production team and enhancing the overall reliability and security of our systems.

You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to automate administration tasks, respond autonomously to incidents, and prevent issues using data-driven metrics and traces.

Your focus will be on improving our existing infrastructure by implementing auto-healing and auto-scaling capabilities, all while ensuring the implementation of robust security practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide support to our production team and transversal services, ensuring smooth operations and quick resolution of issues.
Design and implement automation solutions for administration tasks and incident responses, leveraging metrics and traces to predict and prevent problems.
Implement security and reliability best practices, including access control mechanisms and automatic vulnerability testing.
Enhance existing infrastructure with autohealing and autoscaling functionalities to improve overall system performance and availability.
Collaborate closely with product owners to define the scope of future releases, ensuring alignment with infrastructure requirements.
Monitor and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), developing plans and automated responses to achieve corporate objectives.

Qualifications:

Required Experience:

No previous experience in database administration is necessary; this is a juniorlevel position.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.

Valued Knowledge in:

Oracle Database Administration.
Familiarity with Oracle management and monitoring tools.
Experience with backup and recovery tools oriented to Oracle databases.
Proficiency in Ansible for automation tasks.
Scripting skills using Shell Script.
Strong command of the English language.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies
