Integrated in the Trading area, you will be responsible for for Cepsa's related trading activities, with the objective of maximizing the value creation across the relevant value chain, while ensuring regulatory compliance is delivered.


You will be focused on oxygenates (Ethanol, ETBE, Methanol, MTBE) supply & trading, but aiming at having a good understanding of the whole range of renewable products (Biodiesel, Renewable Diesel, SAF, Vegetable Oils, Waste Lipids, etc.)




KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for all Oxygenates trading activities in the EMEA region. Develop trading strategies to maximize Cepsa's value.
Make trading decisions based on the principle of maximizing returns withing agreed risk limit.
Collaborate on origination and business development activities for supply and marketing agreements.
Lead on negotiating supply and marketing agreements, gaining internal approval where needed.
Execute trades and validate them with Operations and Middle / Back Office teams (Contracts Administration, Settlements, etc.).
Work with the Operations team to optimize physical delivery.
Monitor and adjust position based on defined market and credit risk limits, ensuring compliance with regulatory framework.

Keep up-to-date on market dynamics, develop fundamental views and support trading recommendations with analytical models - Work closely with the Business Intelligence team.

Collaborate on Cepsa's certificate compliance / Produce strategies to profit from Regulation & Sustainability arbitrage opportunities. Provide market and counterparty insight for the KYC process.
Continuously perform price discovery and provide data to support forward price curves reliable production. Build quality relationships with industry participants.


REQUIREMENTS:

4 years of experience in a similar function. Experience in Trading would be valuable. Previous experience in Renewable Products trading, especially Oxygenates.
High level of English.
A track record of commercial excellence in commodity trading with knowledge and understanding of hedging and derivatives market.
Knowledge of market supply and demand, regulations, compliance standards, controls and risk management.
