We are looking to meet our new IT Project Manager to coordinate and manage various projects in 2023 across all business areas and countries in line with their strategic plan.

The Project Manager is to facilitate strategic and/or complex projects deployment and implementation of products, from project envision/inception phase through to closure.

What does your day-to-day look like?


The Project Manager is to facilitate strategic and/or complex projects deployment and implementation of products, from project envision/inception phase through to closure.


  • Proactively manages project financials, project status report, change management, governance, role identification and communication to the stakeholders
  • Ensures alignment with the methodologies used by AXA Services project partners (Agile, DevOps...) in line with the architectural, data, safety and quality standards
  • Deploys and implement highquality new solutions and capabilities alongside their operating model to support the company goals

Its responsabilities include:

  • Proactively engage all required teams (products, working groups, business functions sales/underwriting, compliance, etc ) by establishing and sustaining accountability to ensure they are actively involved in the project and assure seamless deployment
  • Define and monitor the project scope (content, cost, detailed project plan) within the constraints of quality, cost, time and functional perimeter
  • Identify dependencies and maintain risk register; manage risks/mitigations and any issues as they arise, collaborate with senior business or technical roles as required to resolve them
  • Organise and leads Project Steering Committees and coordinate all streams ensuring efficient progress updates and stakeholder's support
  • Prepare the right reporting, tailored to the audience targeted and with the proper monitoring / tracking and decision making material. For that purpose, consolidate statuses and KPIs from impacted products and/or teams (in terms of budget, planning, risks, and mitigants)
  • Lead/Support Business readiness and maintain up to date deployment (incl. local rollout), adoption plans and expected benefits in accordance with the business case.
  • Responsible for handing over operation of delivered capabilities to BAU support setup/operating model. Facilitate/support the change management for the post go live process and training plans.
  • Ensure project alignment with the methodologies used by AXA Services project partners (Agile, DevOps...) in line with the architectural, data, safety and quality standards
  • Facilitate project retrospective's and ensure lessons learnt are documented & shared

Your Profile
Your skills and experience

  • 10 years+ of experience in Project management (experience in large / international project or program management is a plus)
  • Both strategic and practical / hands on approach to deliver concrete results and to structure the environment in the way that is necessary to drive actions
  • Business acumen: Familiar insurance / assistance
  • Proven Project management experience in a global environment
  • Strong financial background. Able to support the implementation of the required governance
  • Excellent active listening skills and communication skills at various levels of hierarchy / seniority levels / countries / cultures: ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences (from operational to executive), quickly incorporate feedback and adjust accordingly
  • Strong leadership and management skills. Ability to influence, towards peers and also towards more senior colleagues
  • Ability to steer groups over which he/she has no formal authority and with competing expectations: Business Stakeholders, Group Professional Families, Experts, Communities, etc. in an international environment
  • Ability to anticipate risks or to mitigate their impact / likelyhood once they occur.
  • Ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems.
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in dynamic and matrixial situations
  • Resilient and tenacious with a strong propensity to persevere in a moving environment
  • Natural leader who loves to empower team members, helps people develop and leverage their skills to perform as highly as possible
