Crop Manager BioSolutions


The Crop Manager BioSolutions develops and executes the marketing plans and strategies for the products under his/her responsibility in Spain and Portugal to ensure that the marketing and product efforts support the overall strategy and objectives of the company.


Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Crop Manager act as a product owner on a wide range of projects, from the discovering stage and understanding its benefits, to delivery and continuous improvement during its life cycle and the overall vision of the product.

He/she will be focused on Natural Plant Protection range which includes biostimulants, biocontrol and special solutions for a more sustainable agriculture.


The Crop manager is expected to:

  • Develop, monitor and refine short
- and long-term strategy based on continuous assessment of the competitive landscape, business intelligence and regulatory changes.

  • Develop price strategies, packaging, and differential positioning of products.
  • Define market and positioning messages that resonate with buyers and differentiate our product and customer in the market.
  • Define the communication strategy of the product and manage its implementation through external agencies for the best product image and brand recognition.
  • Create product content for sales tools and sales pitch. Measure the effectiveness of sales tools and continually keep updated to improve sales team performance.
  • Define launch priorities and necessary resources to allocate.
To lead the market launch and follow-up of the product, he/she will have to:

  • Together with the rest of the marketing team, he/she will be the driving force of a multifunctional team, which includes sales, development, marketing and regulatory, to promote product launches.
  • Gain a deep understanding of competitive analysis and customer experience, regularly visiting the customer network and identifying and solving product concerns, to generate and evaluate new ideas that increase our market share, improve customer experience, and drive growth.
  • Partner with the sales team to make sure their understanding of the strategy, providing them trainings and workshops to help them tackle the market needs.
  • Achieve, define, and prioritize product marketing activities based on business and customer impact.
  • Be in close contact with clients, stakeholders, and the entire value chain, identifying their needs and focusing on the strategic actions that will be executed with the marketing team.
  • Successfully partner with the Market Developers team to ensure successful execution of designed marketing plans and drive product strategy.
  • Work in collaboration with the Regulatory team to ensure the successful execution of regulatory and labeling initiatives that support the strategy.
  • Work in collaboration with the regional team to be aligned with the Company strategy.

Preferred skills:

  • Agricultural Engineering degree or similar
  • Excellent communications skills
  • At least 5 years' experience in an agronomist company + 3 years in BioSolutions
  • Fluent English
