By joining us, you will join a talented and multinational team of consultants with deep technical knowledge in sectors such as energy, industry, ICT, materials, health _etc_.


Role:


Working at the forefront of science and technology, you will be working with leading companies, research centers and world class universities to push the boundaries of what is possible, to solve the most difficult and pressing problems in areas such climate change, food and water security and multimodal transport to name just a few.

You will work with 3 experienced consultants to secure grant funding for large, collaborative projects (around 5M€ - 10M€).

Making use of your prior experience, and with opportunities to learn and grow, you will write innovation proposals, including beyond state of the art, work plan, business plan and budget.

You will also be involved in setting up and building the consortium.

Education
and experience:


  • Science, Mathematics or Engineering degree.
  • A PhD and/or an MBA (Master of Business Administration)) would be a plus.
  • Peerreviewed scientific publications would be a plus
  • At least 2 years' work experience in a technical or a consultancy role.

Duties and responsibilities:


  • Securing grant funding for your clients.
  • Finding and securing partners for multinational innovation projects.
  • Writing innovation proposals.
  • Defining key ideas, concepts, and creative solutions with clients.

Languages:


  • English (C1 or above).
  • Spanish (B2 or above).
  • Another European language would be a plus.

Essential:


  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, including technical writing and presentation.
  • Understanding of the Scientific Method.
  • Passion for science, technology, and innovation.

Desirable:


  • Understanding of the European funding landscape, in particular Horizon Europe and CINEA
  • Knowledge of entrepreneurship and innovation methodologies: business model innovation, design thinking, lean startup, agile.
