A position as
Production Engineer for structural conversion has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in
Getafe (Madrid).

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support production activities related to MRTT conversion.
Follow the schedule and search continuous improvement with the planning and production control department in order to reduce lead time.
Follow the Job Cards instructions and MI task associated with continuous improvement.
Accomplish the level of quality required reducing the cost of nonquality.
Organize the different task and the subcontractors in order to achieve a high level of efficiency.
Accomplish the conversion tasks with in stablished budget and all proposal to reduce cost when possible.
Manage a multifunctional team with different departments and partners.
Manage the incidence generated at shop floor level and control their flow.
Contributes to Production excellence by managing and leading the Production tools (lean, Quest, etc.).
Contributes to staff improvement expertise by increasing their capabilities and skills.
Work shift in double shift.

SKILLS

Education: Aeronautical or Industrial engineering degree level (or equivalent) or a related discipline.
Experience: At least 3 years in one or more the following activities: Production, Engineering manufacturing, Production Control & Planning, Production Improvement.
Languages: High level in English and advanced level in Spanish.
Knowledge in SIPLA, Digital Bar Chart, SNT, DEMAT, CATIA.
Soft skills: Team player, good communication skills and proactive mindset, experience in managing people and conflicts.
