Chubb is undertaking a substantial technology transformation to enable our business to expand our lead in an increasingly dynamic market.
We are seeking a talented professional, motivated to help us transform our claims operations to function effectively in an automated and digital environment.
This position will lead teams spanning disciplines and geographies.We're looking for a talented individual who is passionate about automation, digitization and technology transformation to lead change in the organization.
This is a global role working for the regions LATAM, EMEA and APAC, in partnership with other areas of the business.
Responsibilities:
Managing delivery of multiple initiatives to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency.
Engaging with individuals across multiple teams and locations to support the design, build and deployment of solutions.
Providing guidance and advice to project teams to ensure that solutions are appropriate, effective and aligned to global standards.
Ensuring that projects have robust and feasible delivery plans that are fully documented and appropriately resourced.
Working across multiple teams to ensure projects are managed and delivered in accordance with approved plans and budgets.
As necessary partner with various IT teams and external vendor partners to drive the execution of projects.
Taking COG ownership for ensuring that solutions deliver the desired business outcomes and provide long term sustainability.
Ensure that the vision is followed throughout the execution of the projects through close management of the scope, EPICS, user stories, requirements and ultimate design.
Working with local teams to ensure transfer of knowledge during project build and an effective handover into BAU upon completion.
Leading transformation activities within the COG Claims team to establish and maintain the necessary skills, structures and tools to manage a digitally enabled business.
Qualifications:
Competencies
A strong and influential communicator with experience of working across large teams with the ability to articulate complex concepts in simple language.
The ability to manage senior stakeholders, with strength of character to share bad news and voice differences of opinion in a compelling and respectful manner.
Ability to understand the detail but be able to identify the important issues and summarise them in a concise and effective manner.
Experience working in a global environment and taking input from product owners and stakeholders within different business units across multiple countries or regions.
Ability to manage vision, strategy and scope with very large project teams, verification of as-is, articulation of to-be, identification of gaps and formulation of remedial plans.
Ability to lead deep dive sessions across large project team that are spread across different regions and time zones.
Willingness to work flexible hours (LATAM, EMEA, APAC)
Qualifications:
Strong experience in Business and System Analysis and IT System solution delivery experience is a must.
Certification with SAFe Agile environment is a plus.
Project Management certification and Agile experience is a must.
Solid experience in working in a global environment, multi-discipline, matrix structure team fostering collaboration and team work.
Business Value Chain and Opportunity assessment techniques and experience is required.
Insurance / Claims experience/knowledge highly desirable.
English required, Spanish desired.
