The Spain Market Leader will lead the Alight Go-to-Market strategy for the market further expanding and strengthening its current market position there.

Main scope will embrace leading a Go To Market team and empowering it in building a strong proposition for Alight customers to be successful, innovative and achieve their business objectives in the best and most effective manner.

To achieve this goal the Spain Market Lead will directly manage a combined sales and account management function as well as providing local direction to the global functions located in Spain such as marketing, pre-sales, and delivery.

A key aspect of the role will be orchestrating the global Alight Delivery, Operations and Support organisations against the priorities of the Spanish team and its clients and prospects.


Responsibilities

  • Spain Country Team Orchestration:
  • Building a top performing highly motivated team focused on sustainable growth, excellence in execution, customer centricity, accuracy, sense of urgency, planning and structure for both the direct and indirect teams
  • Fostering and influencing a winning and accountable culture based on: planning, structured approach, metrics and analytics, followup, business outcomes & consultative approaches, proactivity and collaboration (internal teams, international teams, partners)
  • Collaborate and build partnerships within Alight ecosystem to drive the agreed strategy, ensure consensus with the go to market and sales strategy overall
  • Be responsible for the people leadership, team development and ethical behaviour through leading by example for all Spanish based employees.
  • Create a trustful and respectful environment within the immediate team and the extended one. Be a collaborative member of the International management team
  • Ensure there is an end to end client centricity approach to the way in which the global support functions support Spanish clients and prospects.
  • Build a 3 year growth plan to double the business and support the execution of that by the identification of organic and inorganic growth initiatives, supporting the Alight Strategy team in the execution of this
  • Sales:
  • Directly manage the Sales and Client Management functions and their respective managers.
  • Spain Market Leader will work closely with international sales leadership team, to ensure growth and synergy effect for combined products and services offering
  • Guaranteeing the sales execution to a profitable and sustainable growth and a market share increase
  • Develop and implement agreed upon sales models and coverage strategies across multiple touch points and different routes to market. Serve as strategic advisor for the Spanish market providing inputs and feedbacks to the global teams.
  • Accountable for generating opportunities and winning large multiyear new business as a leader by securing a strong pipeline of opportunities and ensure accurate forecasting of pipeline and revenues
  • Serve as the source for strategic advisory for the global teams in terms of trends and prospects for local and international market evolution and competition
  • Customer management:
  • Identify, develop and articulate the compelling value proposition to prospective customers and current end users
  • Demonstrate the ability to carry on a business conversation with all potential clients and decision makers
  • Being responsible for creating the highly efficient salesforce team involved in sourcing and bringing on board and maintaining the best quality of client relationships and referrals.
  • Have a wellestablished and further expanding network within the representatives of top management

Skills and Experience

Qualifications Required

  • Exceptional people management competences and building of organisational capability
  • Proven experience in leading within a matrix international organisation
  • Several years of sales / business development experience in IT/ERP sector
  • Experience in running complex sales processes and working with large international companies.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement market growth strategies
  • Strong client focus and outstanding capacity to work well with multiple clients
  • Strong ability to share and communicate ideas both verbally and in writing in clear concise language
  • Knowledge of HR organization and processes
  • 5 or more years of Enterprise level sales leadership experience
  • Minimum BA/BS or 4year degree or equivalent experience
  • Fluent in English & Spanish
  • Experience in developing and executing longterm sales and growth strategies, involving selling longterm (or multiyear) contract deals
