#Hybrid role in Barcelona, Spain.
We are seeking a bi-lingual (English & German) Associate Project Manager for our Hand-Management Team in Barcelona, Spain.


As an Associate Project Manager at UL Solutions, your role is vital in ensuring that all of our projects across our Consumer, Medical & Information Technologies division in Europe transition smoothly throughout the planning phase.


You will be responsible for maintaining regular contact with our customers, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times, and work quickly and efficiently to address any concerns or issues as they arise.

In conjunction, you'll work closely with internal teams such as Project Engineers, Commercial and Operations Managers to monitor progress, track deliverables, and ensure timely completion of tasks.


English and German language skills are essential.

  • Maintain regular and proactive communication with customers to clarify to customers what are the critical items (information and samples) needed for UL Solutions to start the product evaluation.
  • Understand customer ́s needs, provide updates, set expectations, and address any questions or concerns.
  • Act as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring timely and accurate responses to their inquiries and requests.
  • Collaborate with the operation manager to assign plannings and get them completed within a specific timeframe
  • Monitor project progress and track milestones, ensuring timely completion of tasks and deliverables.
  • Negotiate commitments from customers about the date in which the critical items will be provided.
  • Work with the Operation and Sales managers to create contingency plans for those projects that are not moving for more than 90 days.
  • Conduct regular followup meetings or calls with customers to assess satisfaction levels, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement
  • Escalate any unresolved issues or customer complaints to the appropriate stakeholders and work towards their resolution.
  • Document and maintain comprehensive records of all customer interactions, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of information.
  • Continuously improve customer satisfaction by analyzing feedback, identifying trends, and implementing necessary changes or improvements.
  • Experience in project management is desired, or experience gained in customer service roles, with a particular focus on customer communication and satisfaction.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customeroriented approach.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering highquality work within deadlines.
  • Problemsolving and conflict resolution abilities, with a proactive mindset.
  • Ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and German
  • A Bachelors Degree in a relevant field is highly preferable
