WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Santander Consumer Finance focuses on business development related to consumer finance products, sales channels and commercial agreements with dealers, vehicle manufacturers or retail distribution establishments, as well as commercial functions associated with direct sales (branches, call centers or digital channels) and indirect sales (through third parties) of consumer finance products.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As a
Risk Monitoring Analyst, you will perform a key role in the
SCF Western Hub ́s Risk Monitoring Team .
- Analysis, consolidation and challenge of main credit risk metrics (S3, Provisions, Cost of Credit ) as well as rest of risks (counterparty, market and liquidity, non-financial risks ) for units within Western Hub scope.
- Synthesize and elaborate key messages for senior management, helping to develop Western Hub regulatory and management reports.
- Oversee and participate on month end provision calculation process, ensuring its correct performance and understanding/explaining its output.
- Support Strategic plans and budgeting processes.
- Regular communication and coordination with different departments/local units.
- Support producing reports/presentations/supporting materials related to WH Risk Monitoring for different forums.
EXPERIENCE
- 2 years of experience in Risk Control and Monitoring functions, focused in credit risk.
- Experience in a local business unit is valuable.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in economics, business, engineering.
- High level of analytical skills and ability to communicate/liase with other departments/units.
- Knowledge of credit risk related topics such as NDD or IFRS
- High level of written and oral communication skills in English. Knowledge of other languages such as French or Portuguese is valuable.
- Knowledge of programming (SAS programming, Python ) and data management experience (SQL, Access ) is valuable.
OTHER INFORMATION
- Occasional business travel will be required
