WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Santander Consumer Finance is looking for a Functional Data Architect & Governance Tools, based in our Boadilla del Monte office.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a
Functional Data Architect & Governance Tools, you will oversee the Data governance of SCF main data, assuring the 360o view from the data architecture, data tools management and data governance implementation though them, linking local, HQ and global data initiatives under SCF scope.

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:

Design and implementation of best governance practices for SCF data: Dictionary, metadata, data flows, data quality.
Definition of data requirements for Governance (and nongovernance) tools for both HQ and Global solutions, following up the implementation of these tools to ensure requirement coverage and assuring the availability for users.
Data governance tools management and governance implementation within tools (glossary, it links with physical fields, functional data flows, etc.)
Data Owners engagement and advise on the governance of their data: taxonomy, access, change management, etc.
Participate in al Global / Corporate data initiatives for SCF data scope.
Development of unitwide consistent data architecture.
Ensure consistency between strategy and data architecture.

EXPERIENCE

3+ years of management/strategy consulting
2+ years implementing both governance processes and governance tools.

EDUCATION

Studies of Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, etc.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

Global understanding of IT solutions, with a functional point of view
Communication skills with both functional and technical users (and SCF Local units)
Strong intrinsic problemsolving skills, ability to structure and solve problems and conduct and interpret analysis independently
Knowledge of governance tools (Informatica suit is a plus)
English C1 level
