Senior Animator

Digital Legends is an Activision independent Studio based in Barcelona, formed by industry veterans and emerging talent who are focused on delivering a AAA gaming experience to mobile devices.

Since it was founded in 2001, the studio has been a pioneer in mobile game development.

It has a long, established history as a leading mobile development studio with a number of high-quality mobile titles built from the ground-up to its credits, including the award winning The Respawnables series of games.

We are creating an all-new, AAA mobile experience that will bring the thrilling, fluid and large-scale action of
Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile to players on the go.

The main areas of responsibility include setting up and maintaining the animation workflows and making decisions on which tools and techniques to use.

One large part of the job involves keeping up to date with changes in technology and techniques, being up to date in the latest innovations and pushing the quality of the animation.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create high quality gameready animations (looped and unique).
Handling the rigging process for a wide variety of elements.
Able to work with minimum supervision, while understanding and taking artistic direction.
Work within the established technical specifications for creating animations, while maintaining a clear understanding of schedules and milestones.
YOUR SKILLS:
5+ years of animation experience in the game industry
A strong understanding of character rigging
Understanding animation pipeline, blocking, state machines
Knowledge of the animation system Maya
The understanding of what a healthy animation pipeline looks like.
Excellent communication skills, time management, and work ethic
The ability to identify and eliminate bottlenecks and any issues slowing iteration loops
Strong problem solving skills

IT'S ALWAYS A PLUS:

Experience in shooters, mobile game development and/or AAA games
Previous mobile development experience
