Job Description:


We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Buy-on-Board Business development senior manager to lead and oversee our onboard retail operations expansion.

It will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy to maximize revenue and enhance the overall customer experience through our inflight retail offerings.

Your expertise in retail management, product selection, and customer satisfaction will drive the success of our onboard sales initiatives.

  • Develop and execute a strategic vision for the buyonboard program, aligning with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Manage the endtoend buyonboard operations, including product selection, inventory management, pricing, and promotions.
  • Identify market trends and customer preferences to curate an attractive and profitable product portfolio
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and ensure timely delivery of products while maintaining quality standards.
  • Implement effective sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and increase customer engagement
  • Monitor sales performance, analyse data, and generate regular reports to evaluate the effectiveness
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including cabin crew, catering teams, and marketing departments, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of the buyonboard program.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory requirements to proactively adapt and optimize our buyonboard offerings.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience (5 years) in retail management, preferably within the airline industry or a similar customercentric environment.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations, including product assortment, pricing strategies, inventory management, and sales analysis.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a track record of delivering results through datadriven decisionmaking.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal teams, external suppliers, and customers.
  • Adaptability to a fastpaced and dynamic work environment, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong negotiation skills and business acumen to drive profitable partnerships with vendors and suppliers.
