Management Accounting Senior Associate

For our Management Accounting team, we are looking for a Senior Associate who:

  • Will be the owner and executor of activities defined in our Activity Split following standard procedures and ensuring that certain guidelines are implemented, providing quality and on-time KPI analysis.
  • Be the owner and responsible for the open issues followup under own responsibility, with efficient and close collaboration with the Regional Hub/ Accounting Platform, including active involvement on predefined calls.

You will be responsible for:


  • Execution & ownership of activities defined in the Management Accounting Activity Split following standard procedures and guidelines implemented, providing quality and ontime KPI analysis. (Closing KPI's, MADAM, GIT / WIP, VFMonitoring)
  • Perform month and year end closing activities.
  • Material master data and Production deviation monitoring.
  • Value flow management from cost objects to Financial Statements.
  • Full understanding and being able to handle daily activities both PAIV & VLF inside the cluster.
  • Team Reliability, Cluster Ownership & followup of open issues under Cluster responsibility, with efficient and close collaboration with the Regional Hub, Experts and Senior Experts. Including active involvement on predefined calls.
  • First level of escalation for issue resolution.
  • Share and push improvement measures to make daily tasks more efficient, Improve and standardize processes.
  • Key Player in the Team & in Additional Assignment Being a Role model building trust in the team empowering others.
  • Audit preparation if needed.
  • Proactive attitude to support team members, supporting knowledge activities as part of daily tasks in the cluster ensuring the Cluster pipeline.
  • Being able to grow yourself and others.
  • Involvement in department projects.

Qualifications & competencies:


  • University degree in Business Administration / Accounting, Economics or equivalent education
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in Finance, Accounting or Controlling
  • Automation skills and knowledge in digital solutions like Tableau, Power Automate, VBA or KNIME is highly preferrable
  • SAP FI/CO knowledge
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good level of English (written & spoken)
  • Demonstrated teamwork spirit
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Analytical skills, with initiative and persistence towards followup
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
