  • You will be a part of a global team where the most of your team members will be located in various countries, spread all over the world. The position can therefore be location in Brande, Denmark, Hamburg, Germany, or Orlando, USA.
  • How to contribute to our vision
  • In the role as a Commodity Management Professional, you will have responsibility for the Tower Steel Plates and Flanges commodity in our Offshore Business Unit.
  • You will define and implement Procurement strategies based on conducted demand, market, and supplier analysis to ensure longterm, costefficient, and reliable ontime supply of supplier services in the required quality. This will be in alignment with cross functional partners as well as monitor commodity KPIs creating a basis for deciding on most optimal sourcing strategies and cooperation with the best suppliers.
  • You will also generate, document, and implement savings; plan, monitor, and report on relevant KPI (e.g., CNI, auction coverage, Supply Base Optimization, Lead Time, Reliability, and Adherence) and ensure the target achievement within the respective region, and thereby globally contribute to the success of our business.
  • Other responsibilities will be:
  • Ensure usage of globally defined methods, processes, and systems to achieve high process efficiency and process compliance (e.g., compliant Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process, Procurement guidelines, IT systems).-
  • Ensure collaboration with Cost Value Engineering to secure successful implementations of the different innovation-based cost out initiatives by establishing strategic supplier partnerships.-
  • Ensure a close cooperation with Internal Customers to guarantee customer care and early involvement.-
  • Support Supplier Management processes (e.g., qualification, selection, evaluation, development, classification).-
  • Being a role model of collaboration with key stakeholders within and outside Procurement, you are an active driver of change.
  • What you need to make a difference
  • Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. You have a minimum of 2 years of experience from a similar position. It will be a great advantage if you have some experience in understanding the local content markets of USA, Taiwan, and UK. It is also a great advantage if you have experience with commodity management, and strategy and negotiation.
  • You are a team player, who with confidence can collaborate and communicate with both internal and external stakeholders on all levels. You are collaborative and able to quickly adapt to a changing environment, where solutions and new ideas can be brought up from all sides. You have experience with project management, and process oriented while managing several projects.
  • You have excellent English language skills, both written and spoken, as it is the corporate language of Siemens Gamesa. It is a plus if you have experience with SAP and Ariba.
