Job description

We at PRONOVIAS GROUP, Global leader in the Bridal industry with headquartes in Barcelona, are currently looking for a motivated Product Developer Intern to join our growing Product & Merchandising department.

Your mission will be coordinate with suppliers to ensure that the garments to be produced meet the necessary requirements to produce the dresses according to quality standards.

Functions:

Provide support to the product development team.

Review garments.

Create product sheets explaining how the garments should be developed.

Attend garment fittings.

Work with international suppliers on product development.


Learning:

Develop skills for garment manufacturing in contact with suppliers.

Participate in fittings to observe garment adjustments and quality standards.

Communicate adjustments to suppliers.

Introduction to cost calculation and negotiation with suppliers.


Requirements:

Studies in Industrial Design and Product Development or similar.

Advanced English (minimum C1).

Knowledge of Excel.

Pattern making skills with a vocation to work with suppliers.

Communication skills to interact with vendors, other departments and within our Product Development division.

Design and technical knowledge are much appreciated, in addition of having a flair for the product.

Positive, motivated and dynamic attitude.

Being a proactive team player, essential at this department.
