Purpose of the function:

Implement the medical strategy for products which are on promotion or pre-marketing and the strategic medical plan according to relevant ethical and legal rules.

Give suport to access team as scientific expert for benefit part and access projects (e.g. value dossier, payer's adboards, RWD generation...). Support the HQ in the local implementation of the clinical trials for new molecules etc.

Provide medical advise for internal and external partners and relationship management to KOL in order to promote the assigned product(s) and maximize the value of this/these, according to the ethical and legal requirements.

Active member of the Brand Team and contribution to Brand Plan and Launch Readiness Plan.

Roles & responsabilities:

Provide support to the Medical Director and/or the top management in all medical aspects and assure all medical regulations and requirements are met.
Responsible of the medical part of the local value dossier when it is applicable in line with the Market access department and regulatory department.
Set up and evaluate the relevance of epidemiological projects, registries, RWD generation to support the local value dossier.
Maintain and encourage a constructive relationship with KOL at the local market.
Ensure scientific services are provided as required by law.
Plan and ensure execution and documentation of clinical research studies or pharmaceutical substances as required by the international responsible department.
Provide expertise on medical issues and answer request of internal departments.
Support marketing ans market access departments in maximizing the potential of company's products, through generation, interpretation and communication of medical and scientific information.
Ensure effective training sessions for marketing, market access and sales staff to explain the specifications of products and studies.
Demonstrate Field Medical value & define resourcing needs.
Enhance Field Medical collaboration and integration at local level and European level, with active participation on European forums as Spanish representative.

Professional experience and personal skills:

University Degree in Life Science
Minimum of 25 years like Medical Manager in the pharmaceutical industry.
English language: Fluent
