The Experimental Group was founded in 2007 by three childhood friends, Olivier Bon, Pierre-Charles Cros and Romée de Goriainoff.

Xavier Padovani later joined them and shared their vision:
to offer the ultimate hospitality experience to an ever-demanding clientele.


Celebrated for bringing the cocktail bar culture to Paris, the Experimental Group operates cocktail bars, but also wine bars, restaurants, and then from 2015 Hotels.

Destinations diversify over the years, starting with European capitals like Paris and London, to more seasonal locations such as Ibiza or Menorca for the summer or the ski slopes of Verbier for the winter.

The group also have properties in Venice, New York, Biarritz, and the Cotswolds.

DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB


We are seeking an experienced
Hotel Manager H/F to join our dynamic team and lead the team at Gran Hotel Montesol.


Your duties and responsibilities will be the following:

  • Day to day management of the hotel and operations.
  • Coordinating the revenue management strategy to maximize sales and revenue (in close collaboration with our sales manager).
  • Assisting the implementation of the sales strategy with our sales manager.
  • Making sure all customers data and booking details are correctly loaded and updated in the Opera system.
  • Full staff management including training, appraisals and recruitment
  • Ensure health and safety legislation is being met
  • Overall financial budget & P&L responsibility.
  • Reporting all daytoday information to the office in order to prepare the payroll and be aware of all operational and HR needs are communicated.
  • Communicate and coordinates all HR and operational
  • Ensure a proper stock follow up to prevent overstocking and running outofstock and plan cost control measures.
  • Maintain optimal relationships with supplier and service providers.
  • Coordinate with our communication providers to maximize revenue (Google ads, Facebook ads, Instagram posts)
  • Accountable for customer experience, ensuring world class / consistent customer service is being delivered at all times. Dealing with customer's complaints.
  • Insuring coordination between each hotel department.
  • Ensure the proper functioning of technical equipment as well as the overall atmosphere (condition of the furniture/decoration, room equipment, cleanliness).
  • Follow up the end of works of the new building (global maintenance and rooms final touches).

PROFIL
You will have extensive experience in people management, customer service and a full understanding of day to day operations:

  • Leading by example, decision making.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate across of levels.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and PMS (Oracle, Opera, Micros).
  • Have a knowledge of business management principles and practices.
  • Attention to details and customer needs.
  • Have a Hospitality degree or any equivalence.
  • Fluent level of Spanish & English.
  • Previous management position would be a plus.
