Your Role:

The role of the Public Affairs & Policy Manager is key to successfully executing the company's Public Affairs strategy and achieving breakthroughs that change patients' lives in Spain.

It is a strategic position with an external focus, working to drive high-impact projects and programs that support the organization's strategic priorities.

It is important to understand the external environment in the company's areas of interest in the public, private, political, and social sectors, and to enhance external perception of our commitment in those areas among our stakeholders.

Identify stakeholders involved in decision-making relevant to our medications, products, with a focus on social and political decision-makers/influencers.

Develop strong and trustworthy relationships with critical stakeholders and work on creating strategic alliances that contribute to the company's positioning, facilitate launches and business development, and provide innovation opportunities.

Contribute to the design of the Strategic Positioning Plan in coordination with other departments of the company, highlighting and effectively communicating our differential value compared to competitors, stakeholders, and clients.

Work on the design and implementation of an Integrated Action Plan with other departments, identifying strategies and projects to achieve business objectives and positioning projects, as well as modulating the national environment to optimize the launch of new medications products and improve access for patients.

Contribute to global positioning objectives as a leading company in science and technology, cooperating with Regional and Global areas to ensure strategic and synergistic alignment in the development of local projects with global positioning projects.

Analyze the environment from regulatory, medical, political, and social perspectives and integrate them to identify influence opportunities and anticipate changes in the regulatory and policy development environment that may impact the business.

Design and implement projects in collaboration with stakeholders to improve health, quality of life, and knowledge and recognition of specific therapeutic areas.

Will report to the Market Access, Public Affairs & Policy Director.


Who You Are:


  • You have preferably a University Degree in health sciences or political sciences.
  • Postgraduate training in Public Health, Health Administration, Public Affairs, MBA, Pharmaceutical Industry Master's, and Master's in Political and Institutional Communication will be valued.
  • You have at least 4 years of experience in Public Affairs, Corporate Affairs, or equivalent positions, preferably in the Pharmaceutical, Health, or Consulting sector.
  • You have a solid knowledge of the Spanish healthcare system, as well as the national and regional political system.
  • You have the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, both in national and international environments, as well as strategic vision, as well as skills to lead and manage projects.
  • You have excellent communication skills and the ability to engage in strategic conversations/debates and build/manage relationships with stakeholders of interest.
  • You are proficient in English (advanced/C1 level).
