CUSTOMER SUPPORT ENGINEER

Job Objective:

Excellently trained engineer in all company's technologies and systems so the company can provide the best solutions to issues reported by customers/distributors adding high quality to the service.

Continuous learner. Must help to improve and grow the customer support department.

Responsibilities:
Reports to Customer Support Manager the main responsibilities of this position are:

  • Provide solutions to questions/issues raised by customers or distributors.
  • Repair systems. Either at customer ́s site or at the company.
  • Take care of the training program to distributors. This involves creating training material for distributors and train them when required.
  • Handle facetoface enquiries from customers either at company's premises or at customer site when required.
  • Must help to improve and grow the customer support department.
  • Onsite support providing hand to hand service to our customers. System installation, calibration, and certification of any company's system.
  • Optimize customer satisfaction. Going always beyond customer expectations, our goal is to achieve excellence.
  • Continuous improvement. The Post-Sales engineer will have an indepth knowledge of our systems. Documentation review, processes and services will also be required.
  • Translate customer needs to our requirements.
  • Technical support requests that may arrive though our support channel.

Key Qualifications and skills:
Bachelor's degree in technical or scientific discipline. Minimum 1 year of experience in costumer service. Confident with electronic, mechanical and optic devices would be a plus. Knowledge of 3D Optical Surface Profilers, as a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills (in Spanish and English). Able to work under pressure. Easy-going, open and team builder person. Experience repairing Windows PC based system. Motivation for working in an international technological environment of an SME with strong growth. Demonstrated organizational skills, ability to independently prioritize work and appropriate attention to detail.
