The Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) is a cutting-edge institute addressing global public health challenges through research, translation into policy and education.

ISGlobal has a broad portfolio in communicable and non-communicable diseases including environmental and climate determinants, and applies a multidisciplinary scientific approach ranging from the molecular to the population level.

Research is organized in three main areas, Malaria and other Infectious Diseases, Child and Maternal Health, and Urban Health, Climate & Non-Communicable Diseases.

ISGlobal is accredited with the Severo Ochoa distinction, a seal of excellence of the Spanish Science Ministry.

    What We Are Looking for:
  • ISGlobal is seeking a highly experienced international health physician expert to provide support in the review of International Health Service research study protocols. As an international health physician expert, it will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing study protocols, as well as providing recommendations on study design, implementation and execution.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Review and analyze research study protocols to ensure they meet international health standards and regulations.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to research teams on study design, implementation, and execution.
  • Conduct literature reviews and analyze data to inform study design and implementation.
  • Collaborate with research teams to identify potential health risks and provide guidance on risk mitigation strategies.
  • Provide support in data analysis and interpretation, as well as developing conclusions and recommendations based on study findings.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for research screening processes.

Specific Requirements:


  • Physician specialized in international health and travel medicine.

Skills:


  • Teamwork.
  • Problem resolution.
  • Good coordination skills

Language level:


  • Spanish Proficient, and English advance

Conditions:


  • Duration: 3 WEEKS
  • Starting date: From 11/04/2023 to 01/05/202
  • Contract: (part or full time): 20h /week
  • Gross Salary Range: Medical research fellow B
