Security System Engineer 12 month contract Remote Spain (Madrid) Local market rates Must be located in Spain for this role. Full remote within Spain possible. System Administrator/Engineer to work on hardening/clean-up project tasks in the organizations Windows server environments. The project is on-boarding existing applications to the security monitoring tool stack (vulnerability management and security baseline configuration policy checks). The candidate will join the existing international team in Spain and will work on remediating vulnerabilities and correcting the configuration on the Servers either ad-hoc or, wherever possible, by engineering automated solutions and deployments. The role requires a problem-solving attitude and configuration auditing through change management during the allowed maintenance windows.
Responsibilities The scope of the NextGen Vulnerability Management Project
  • Onboard all applications and their corresponding assets (eg Servers) onto NextGen Vulnerability Management practice
  • Support remediation activities for vulnerability backlog.
Analyze and remediate common vulnerabilities - Onboard all applications and their corresponding assets (eg Servers) onto NextGen SCB/FIM practice - Coordinate/Support remediation activities to reduce SCB deviations with main focus on common deviations across applications and assets - Implement several improvements to further mature the NextGen practices
