A very exciting opportunity has arisen at
Airbus Getafe to work on Procurement Aerostructures as R&T coordinator for all Research and technologies in particular taking care of the Spaish perimeter.


The Scope and main responsibilities are:

  • Lead, coordinate and define R&T activities oriented to RFE, fairings and Composite Manufacturing within Procurement Aerostructures.
  • Strategy definition for Composite Detail Parts within the R&T perimeter.
  • Alignment of Program of tomorrow (Wing of Tomorrow, Fuselage of Tomorrow and Empennage of tomorrow) with Composite Detail Parts strategy.
  • Coordinate to definition of Capture Plan/CdTi partnership strategy
  • CRA (Corporate and Research Agreement) negotiation and signature.
  • Coordination of new Composite technologies within PS commodities.
  • Through PS, fostering PM strategy in Aerostructures.

Tasks

  • Establish overal R&T plan for R&T in PST perimeter.
  • Coordinate R&T inputs with all PST MFTs and functions.
  • Align with PSY & prepare content for Aerostructures Committee.
  • Negotiate CRAs (Research agreements with PArtners).
  • As a buyer, Conduct the Buyer activities and secure his/her support to the Multi functional Team Leader for the "Supplier Selection and Contracting", "Supplier Monitoring" and "Contract Management" processes:
  • Implement contract / business relationship
  • Monitor /manage Contract execution and contractual coverage of evolution Requests
  • Amend Contract
  • Anticipate and mitigate contractual risks
  • Manage contract expiry
  • Evaluate, prepare and send request for purchasing
  • Terminate Contract
  • Conduct the Buyer activities of "Supply External Products and Services" process.
  • Conduct, or contribute to, all projects impacting the contractual terms and conditions for the products and/or suppliers under his/her responsibility, eg: Value Creation projects, Transfer of Work projects, claims or liabilities management.
  • Contribute to budget elaboration within her/his scope of activity.
  • Organize and conduct the Work Package Team (WPT) review meeting with the support of the WPT.
**Skills

  • Experience**Given the scope of the position you will be able to work seamlessly with all levels of the business in Airbus Commercial.

You will have the following attributes:

  • Procurement experience or robust airframe technologiestechnical background.
  • Proven successful experience in teamwork in intercultural environment.
  • Efficient project management.
  • Effective negotiator with proven commercial and contractual background is welcomed.
  • Financial key indicators knowledge.
  • Experience in delivering cost reduction initiatives.
  • Ability to drive improvement & innovation to deliver concrete results.
  • In depths knowhow of the Aerostructure market and supplier strategies of his/her perimeter.
  • Proven in communication, especially with suppliers' representatives and internal stakeholders.
  • Effective management of customer expectations and stakeholders.
  • Negotiation level in English.
