The SD-WAN/NFV Solution Architect will contribute as lead engineer to understand new development / customer requests and formulate suitable high level solution options.

Product Solution Authority evolve product and services towards the delivery of world class enterprise customer solutions aligned with the vision of Vodafone's connectivity Portfolio.


You will be working with a team of architects, technical designers, and other developers to build next generation software defined network solutions.


Key Tasks and Responsibilities:


  • Design and build components and end to end SDWAN/NFV solutions
  • Application & SW engineering with focus in all areas of advanced network systems
  • Customizing SW and implementing to 3rd party physical and virtual environments
  • Introducing new features and concepts into carrier networks
  • Ensure the design and development embrace Vodafone technology model, methodology and standards
  • Engage with Commercial and Product Management functions to collect and discuss requirements and solutions

What you bring:


  • Experience in working in virtual and multinational teams, with proven record of delivering goals in matrix organisations
  • Experience with infrastructure/service declarative modelling, and any of the following: JSON/XML or Yang/Netconf/Tosca
  • Understanding of API methodology and API gateways.
  • Solid understanding of SW development, devops approach
  • SW Development: Python, JS/ React/ NodeJS, RESTful WebServices
  • Core expertise in a good number of topics on network infrastructures enabling Systems and Tools applicable to the SDN and NFV market

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

  • Experience of design, implementation and roll out of telecoms services, preferably gained in an international environment/global context.
