Research activities; including synthesis, processing, characterisation and testing of different electrodes, electrolytes, cells and stacks.

  • Innovation: participation in the formulation of new strategic research objectives.
  • Communication and dissemination activities: writing scientific reports and articles, presenting research results in high impact factor scientific journals and at national and international conferences.
  • Funding: contributing to the preparation of research proposals for different national and European programmes (Horizon Europe, State Plan, Regional Plan, Proof of Concept Projects, etc.).

Networking:
establishing collaborations with other research groups (internal and external).

Requisitos

It is required that the selected person has:

  • Master's degree in one of the following disciplines: materials science and engineering, electrochemistry, chemistry, chemical engineering or similar.
  • Bachelor's degree in materials science and engineering, electrochemistry, chemistry, chemical engineering or similar.
  • Experience in laboratory work.
  • Experience with some diffraction, microscopic and spectroscopic characterisation techniques for structural and microstructural characterisation; such as: Xray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Xray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS).
  • Experience with some thermal analysis methods; such as: thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), differential thermal analysis (DTA), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), dilatometry and thermomechanical expansion.
  • Excellent oral and written skills in English.
  • Commitment to open science in terms of research methods, data and publications.
  • Ability to work in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams, flexible and with good communication skills.
