The Data Scientist role

  • Develop solutions using a range of data science techniques
  • Implement and understand a range of data science techniques and be able to develop models including machine learning
  • Collaborate with the team to develop data science solutions according to business needs
  • Perform analytics on data
  • Able to recognise and exploit business opportunities to ensure more efficient and effective performance of organisations
  • Develop data science solutions that are fit for purpose, resilient, scalable and futureproof, to meet user needs
  • Help team to achieve their goals and be aligned to business needs.

Minimum requirements


What we are expecting from you

  • At least 3 years of experience working with Python and SQL.
  • Passionate about big data and its potential for supporting smart decisions
  • Experience with AWS services like Sagemaker and S3 at least. Glue and lambda knowledge would be a plus
  • Knowledge on Git
  • Experience on working in an Agile setup
  • Methodical and logical approach along with creativity when approaching a problem
  • Be able to obtain conclusions from a data set
  • Able to log, analyse and manage problems to identify and implement the appropriate solution
  • Understanding of the organisations and the benefits of data science
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to identify and communicate data driven insights in a clear and effective manner
  • Curiosity and thirst for knowledge
  • Advocate for feedback
  • Actively pursue improving skills
  • Collaborate with others for learning and achieving goals together
  • Bonus: experience in relevant vertical industries: consumer electronics, automotive, industrial, health
  • Fluent in English and/or Spanish.
