As a Senior Security Analyst, you will be and lead part of the Cybersecurity Managed Services (CMS) SOC team in EY GDS Spain, a team with multidisciplinary professionals committed to providing top-notch services to our clients worldwide.
The opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Analyst who will be primarily responsible for analyzing and processing SIEM alerts, aside from maintaining constant and direct communication with our client.
You will be leading an international team that will be part of internal and external projects from different countries.
As a lead, you will guide and mentor junior analysts by sharing knowledge and best practices, ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards and elaborate the corresponding reports and documentation.
Your key responsibilities
- Operational support using SIEM solutions (Splunk, Sentinel), EDR (CrowdStrike, Defender, Carbon Black) and NSM (Fidelis, ExtraHop) for multiple customers.
- Specialized in second level incident validation and more detailed investigation
- Performs incident coordination and communication with client to ensure effective containment, eradication, and recovery
- SIEM support activities which includes ad hoc reporting and basic troubleshooting
- Advise customers on best practices and use cases on how to use this solution to achieve customer end state requirements.
- Provide near realtime analysis, investigating, reporting, remediation, coordinating and tracking of securityrelated activities for customer
Skills and attributes for success
- Excellent knowledge of SIEM technologies such as Splunk, Azure Sentinel from a Security analyst's point of view
- Previous exposure to IOT/OT monitoring (Claroty, Nozomi Networks etc.)
- Familiarity with Network monitoring technology platforms such as Fidelis XPS and ExtraHop
- Understanding of endpoint protection tools, techniques, and platforms such as Carbon Black, Tanium, CrowdStrike, Defender etc
To qualify for the role, you must have
- B2 English language level
- 3 years of Handson experience in SIEM/EDR/NSM solutions
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of RegEx, Perl scripting and SQL query language.
Ideally, you will also have
- Certifications such as CCSA, CEH, CISSP, GCIH, GIAC.
- People and/or Project management skills.
