How to contribute to our vision


We are looking for a competent major Component Planner to support the Spare Parts & Supply planning (SP&S PLA) department within the Service Division.

You will be part of the Planning team, supporting the global and regional supply chain functions.

In this role, you will be working with developing the planning function of major components globally and have a large interface in the organization.

The major component area is associated with high values and high strategic importance, so you need to possess good stakeholder management, as well as communication skills.

The international aspect of this position requires occasional travelling (5-15 days per year).

For all of them, you will:

  • Ensure global availability of major components.
  • Ensure global transparency on available stock.
  • Communicate stocking strategies to relevant stakeholders.
  • Forecast expected demand based on available failure rates.
  • Align regions safety stock based on expected failures, contractual obligations, fleet, aftermarket requests etc.
  • Capture trends in the demand in collaboration with relevant stakeholders and adjust inventories accordingly.
  • Analyze interchangeability information from technology.
  • Proactively stock up on new technology.
  • Calculate needed investments and communicate into global S&OP process.
  • Long term strategic planning what and where to stock.
What you need to make a difference

  • You have a Bachelor / Master's degree in Supply Chain Management combined with and some years of practical experience.
  • Preferably you have experience as a Planner within a global supply chain setup. Experience with the spare parts business is not required, however considered an advantage.
  • You have a solid understanding of ERP systems such as SAP
  • You have excellent Microsoft Office skills especially within Excel. Experience with Power BI, Power Query, Power Pivot or SQL are considered as an advantage.
  • As a person you are structured and have a strategic and analytical mindset. You are into the details and at the same time can cope with many tasks during the day.
  • You are strong on deliverables and implementation being an excellent communicator who can work with people of all nationalities and across organizational levels.
  • You are fluent in English written and spoken. Other languages, especially Danish or Spanish, would be considered an advantage.
  • You speak and write English and Spanish on a high level
