Role purpose:


The position will have special focus in generation of New Business, creation of good relationship with key Brokers that will translate in new business growth and profitable.

It will be highly appreciated if the person had ability to manage multinational accounts.


The role is based in Madrid and will be able to handle brokers from different territories, so their physical presence in these areas will be necessary, through regular trips outside the office.

The role requires working in proximity with the Team Manager.


Job Description:

Focus on underwriting new and renewal A&H Corporate products; Business Travel Accident, Group Personal Accident, ESB, etc.
Work within the framework of Chubb service standards, meeting company standards in respect of policy documentation, timeframe for quoting new and renewal business and compliance issues
Underwrite new business and renewals according to defined underwriting guidelines, specified budget and local business plan.
Comply with all policies, controls, authorities, and reporting requirements
Play a key role in working towards achieving the regional financial plan.

Promoting and representing Chubb to current brokers and new producers, with the goal of increasing the visibility of Chubb's A&H corporate offerings in the MM and MA markets.

Have a clear targeting and define a visit plan to brokers on the area of influence.
Prepare sales materials and adapt existing ones to MM and MA specific requirements to adequately promote.
Maximize cross selling initiatives in collaboration with other lines of business.


Qualifications:


Knowledge and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economic or similar studies.
At least 5 years of underwriting experience, preferably within A&H Corporate line of business (Group Personal Accident, Business Travel, Healthcare.)


Advance user of Microsoft office:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Proficiency level in English and Spanish.
Comprehensive understanding and working knowledge of the product line, the Spanish insurance market and Competitors.
Solid Commercial Sales and Business development experience.
Strong negotiation skills and proven experience dealing with brokers.
Self-motivated, positive, driven dynamic and sales focused individual.
Excellent communication and commercial skills.
Team worker, able to manage by influencing under a collaborative environment.
High level of ethical working standards.
