Senior Analyst


We are currently looking for a Senior Analyst to join our Group Audit People, Operations & Development (POD) team based in Barcelona.


As a Senior Analyst you will support on a portfolio of projects and work across a number of initiatives to build team capabilities, improve employee engagement, drive organizational change and continuous improvement.

Under the guidance of the POD Director and Manager, you will work closely with our Global teams and business stakeholders to identify alternatives of solutions, such as change initiatives, training programs and new ways of working.

You will be helping to implement improvements, as well as contributing toward our strategic goals for the future.

You will be interacting with various stakeholders and leveraging and further expanding your knowhow and expertise for Group Audit Operations.


What will be your challenge?

  • Support the development of the Group Audit People, Operations & Development agenda and delivery of ongoing initiatives including preparing materials and communications, communicating and working with the wider team to implement such activities.
  • Help drive the operating rhythm by setting up and maintaining the Group Audit key dates and deliverables calendar and activity and progress overview.
  • Conduct trend and gap analysis and develop and implement process improvements based on the analysis performed.
  • Coordinate Group Audit Executive/Leadership Team Meeting Agendas and Workshops to support development of changes.
  • Coordinate and facilitate learning events for Group Audit, including learning days.
  • Support the onboarding program for new team members, liaising with their respective regions to ensure they are integrated into the team and understand the function's purpose, processes, and expectations.
  • Ensure alignment of the teams working at each location and establish and maintain a series of informal and formal channels to capture recommendations, ideas for improvement and assess feasibility of changes.
  • Seek regular feedback from a variety of stakeholders (employees and business) using various techniques, analyze their journey and report results to the Group Audit Leadership Team
  • Act as a coordinator of Group Audit's presence in all Zurich Networks and external Industry events.
  • Actively learn and participate in knowledge sharing within the wider team.

What will your day-to-day life be like?

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Business, Economics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience or focus on people operations, development, communications, capability building, and training benefits. Experience working in internal audit, related field and/or a regulated environment preferred.
  • Ability to think strategically and to identify and implement opportunities for improvement.
  • Ability to work and support a diverse, global team and foster creativity, understanding cultural differences, promoting cooperation, creating a safe environment for ideation and open communication.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders in
