The role in a nutshell


The key responsibility of the Team Manager of Service Delivery is to provide tactical management, support and governance across the team.

This includes all areas of the team's services including service management, incident and change management, continual service improvement, and customer satisfaction as well as playing a key role in ensuring the highest level of operational service delivery.


The role exhibits advanced wide-ranging client service experience, using in-depth professional knowledge, acumen, service delivery concepts and company objectives to develop, resolve complex service delivery related models and procedures.

The role provides solutions to issues in creative and effective ways.

  • French and/or Dutch language is a plus; English is required.

How you will make a difference:
Manage a team of Client Delivery Managers, provide coaching and counselling of team members; maintain a positive work environment and providing advice. Follow GEO Operations/Client Delivery practices and well-defined management precedents. Ensure team performs the scope of work effectively while delivering exceptional service to existing clients. Take actions to increase teams' productivity and ensure smooth teams' functioning by continuously evaluating and improving processes to facilitate that services are delivered efficiently and effectively. Identifying areas within the team workflow, and assignments where continuous improvement can be applied.

Be responsible for employee's performance reviews, pay reviews, and have employment/termination decision making authority- What will give you an advantage:

  • Client services related experience and a minimum of 2 years of team management experience, preferably in HR technology/services.
  • Experience managing a team in a remote environment, with globally disbursed teams and clients.
  • Developing knowledge of management concepts and practices performance management, employee development and training.
  • Demonstrated track record of developing service delivery excellence, sales collaboration and a growth mindset within a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships across teams, both internally and externally.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment by prioritizing situations which require a sense of urgency and distributing work amongst the team as appropriate.
  • Collaboration, influencing skills and the ability to work well within a team. Ability and willingness to serve as a Safeguard ambassador and willingness to demonstrate our culture and values through your work and interactions with others.
