We're hiring an HR Business Partner in Madrid, Spain

OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE

  • Provide input to ensure that teams consist of diverse, qualified individuals
  • Ensure that staffing needs are met with a longterm strategy in mind
  • Devise and implement sourcing strategies, such as an employer branding initiative, to build pipelines for potential applicants
  • Beyond the recruitment process, ensure that the onboarding and integration of new colleagues goes smoothly
  • Be the HR liaison for the Spanish team for all recruitment, development, retention, training and also for payroll and benefits issues

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan and implement company talent acquisition strategy
  • Source applicants through online channels, such as LinkedIn and other professional networks
  • Create job descriptions and interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position
  • Maintain records of all materials used for recruitment, including interview notes and related paperwork, to share with key stakeholders
  • Elaborate onboarding plans and training plans
  • Participate in our talent retention strategy
  • Assist in the implementation of HR policies for the group (Belgium, Spain, USA)
  • Take responsibility for personnel administration in Spain: agreements, payroll, benefits, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Minimum 35 years of experience in a talent acquisition or similar role, ideally talent acquisition of engineers, technical profiles
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent) in human resources management or similar field
  • Experience in fullcycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
  • Proficiency with social media, CV databases, and professional networks
  • Experience in payroll and/or compensation and benefits management
  • Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
  • Creative thinker and proactive problem solver
  • A positive, "can do" attitude
  • Open to travel a few times per year
  • Languages : Spanish and English are mandatory, French is a plus
