Job Description:


The Role
Merkle is a rapidly growing company with over 2000 employees in Europe. You will be based in our Barcelona office.


You will be a key member of the European team working with the London-based Head of Facilities and Front of house team to ensure the smooth running of the offices, as well as being the main point of contact on reception.


Life as a Receptionist at Merkle

  • The main point of contact on reception including meeting and greeting all visitors.
  • Answering the mainline phone number and directing calls accordingly.
  • Maintaining and organising over meeting rooms, which includes meeting room checks, prepping meeting rooms and organising lunch deliveries for various meetings.
  • Working with all levels of staff and across departments to ensure the smooth running of the offices.
  • Working with the Office Manager to help maintain the office environment, supporting, identifying and organising repairs/maintenance/cleaning etc.
  • Administrative support for wider office teams.
  • Coordinating deliveries and post for all departments.
  • Support in the organisation of company events e.g. Social activities (monthly socials and companywide lunches), large group meetings, celebrations etc.
***Working with us as a Receptionist in our office you will oversee: - Control unit management;

  • Mail and messaging management;
  • Meeting rooms management;
  • Visits attention;
  • Administrative tasks.

Qualifications:


  • Proficient English and Spanish level;
  • Proactive with effective communication skills;
  • Logical thinker with an eye for detail;
  • Good knowledge of Office package;
  • Client orientated.
