SANTANDER DIGITAL SERVICES is looking for a BIGDATA CONTROLLER ENGINEER, based in our Madrid office.

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a
Big Data Controller Engineer you will be responsible to control Big Data environments, projects, incidents and changes management.

You will have the knowledge about quality plans.

We need somebody like you to help us in different fronts:

  • Management of Kafka environments, automation of procedures and high availability of environments.
  • Availability to perform guards and shifts as required. With high potential to manage different customers with different characteristics. Ready to manage very critical environments.
  • Design bigdata solutions for our customers and help the group by being a leading player in bigdata technologies.

EXPERIENCE
- + 3 years' experience as an Big Data platform.

  • Project Management Experience.

EDUCATION

  • Technical Degree.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Required
  • Expert level technical Bigdata Environment (Spark, Kafka, Cloudera, Confluent, Abinitio, IBM CDC, )
  • Automation based in Ansible, Shellscript, Python and capacity to adopt and develop skills in new.
  • Experience working with ALM toolsets (Jira, Confluence, Nexus, Jenkins)
  • Knowledge in Cloud technologies: Openshift, Azure, AWS, etc.
  • Linux high knowledge
  • Experience in Software Architecture
  • Ease in managing in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Good problem solving issue.
  • Be used to the Agile ways of working.
