Position Summary


The HR Specialist is focused on delivery of the day-to-day activities of a country within the EMEA Shared Service Centre.

S/he ensures quality of service and operational performance by working within the HRSS documented processes and working with appropriate metrics and dashboards.

They will escalate questions and issues to the Region Lead on centre-supported services such as Benefits, Payroll, HR policies & procedures.


Key Responsibilities
Deliver first line support for all HR queries across the spectrum of the employee

lifecycle from new hires to employees leaving the business - including:

  • First point of contact for internal and external training requirements in France
  • Enrolling employees to training and working closely with French vendors and record all completed training in internal systems
  • All employee related administration for HR processes
  • First line support for all HR system queries
  • Delivery of service in line with Service Level Agreements
  • Maintain information, resources, manuals and policies for assigned countries
  • Deliver HR support in line with local employment legislation
  • Ensure administrative compliance with local regulations and authorities
  • Support local HR Generalist group with adhoc requests
Working within defined processes ensure all payments are successfully managed in a timely way (employee, third party and statutory)

  • Vendor invoice review, validation and approval
  • Production of HR management information as required
  • Participate in business/ functional projects as required
  • Responsible for the accurate filing and storing of employee data according to the respective data protection requirements

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

  • Fluency in French is essential
  • Prior experience working in a HR shared service centre
  • Previous experience in general HR or customer services preferred
  • Ability to interpret and communicate HR policies and procedures
  • Process improvement skills (desirable but not essential)
  • Serviceoriented attitude and willingness to learn
  • Possess good listening skills and patience to work with all types of employees
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude
  • Individual should have high energy with the ability to organise/prioritise workload
  • Excellent interpersonal skills needed with the ability to communicate well in a diverse work environment

  • Occasional travel required
