A Snapshot of Your Day


As the Managing Director of Siemens Energy Iberiayou will lead the legal entities in Spain and Portugal, and be responsiblealso for business development and go to market strategies.


HowYou'll Make an Impact

  • Proactively drive and help lead hub Europe (leading by example) in all aspects, promote our values and the transformation journey
  • Act as Siemens Energy's key representative in the country through proximity to customers, authorities and other stakeholders & shareholders; orchestrate and coordinate the internal stakeholders in order to achieve the optimal result for SE and ensuring full compliance to SE and country laws.
  • Build and maintain excellent relations with central and local government authorities in order to support the development and brand of SE in the territory.
  • Oversee the development and update of Iberia's contributions to the Western Europe roadmaps for the energy transition and its market development strategy, including partner & network strategy
  • Promote, lead and drive development and talent management for the local team
  • Manage parts of the local entity's budget and drive for cost optimization in the countries, in transparent collaboration with the Country/Legal Entity Finance Director
  • Ensure that legal rules and regulations are adhered to in the countries.
  • Support the Key Account community in the countries, in conjunction with the Sub Region head of Business Development

WhatYou Bring

  • Talented and wellrounded senior industrial executive with extensive exposure across functions within a multinational corporation
  • Superb leadership (prior experience essential) and proven team leadership qualities; you should be versatile, creative, lean, agile, and proactively get into the details and work in a handson way
  • You should be able to demonstrate a variety of work experiences touching on industries related to the energy industry and the energy transition
  • Able to articulate a deep understanding of Iberia and European Energy landscape and industry
  • Individual who promotes change management, silosbreaking and embraces Siemens Energy's values and role models our key behaviors especially around active management of intercultural sensitivities
  • 5+ years of direct, proven experience in the energy oil, gas, chemical or petrochemicals industry within a consulting or engineering environment.
  • Proficient in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
