The Senior Manager Corporate Affairs will support the Spain and Portugal communications strategy and implementation for BMS Corporate Communications and will
lead internal communication efforts for BMS.

The Sr.

Manager will work closely with BMS cross-functional colleagues to develop and implement internal communication and support also business communications plans, including press releases, issues management, disease awareness and lifecycle management.

The role reports to the Director for Corporate Affairs Spain & Portugal.

The Sr Manager will be an integral part of our Comms team, collaborating closely with various internal stakeholders and teams to make sure our mission and values come to life.

Responsibilities:


  • Lead the development and execution of the internal strategic communication plans in close coordination with BMS crossfunctional team.
  • Prepare and execute an integrated internal communication plan.
  • Create and implement multiple forms of communication activities and programs.
  • Work closely with HR to carry out the execution of the culture and engagement plans with employees.
  • Ensure communication strategy is consistent and reflects the organization's strategic vision.
  • Lead the communication of the PBGR groups of BMS Spain and Portugal.
  • Interact with external agencies as it relates to external communications across brands.
  • Support the development of core external communications materials
  • Collaborate with Global Team to ensure corporate and internal messaging is consistent.
  • Lead one Brand/ Business Unit support and interact with commercial organization, al local and International level.

Qualifications:


  • Seasoned communications professional with at least 5 years of experience in internal communications, media relations or public relations preferable.
  • Degree in communications or journalism.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry would be a plus
  • Solid experience in speech writing, storytelling and visual thinking.
  • Experience in Communications and/or PR required. Experience in developing, leading and implementing communications and public relations plans.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
  • Demonstrated track record of leadership project management, organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written, oral, communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across functions and levels across highly matrixed organization and manage multiple projects against tight deadlines.
  • Selfstarter, able to work independently as well as with teams.
  • Fluent English
