SANTANDER GLOBAL TECHNOLOGY & OPERATIONS is looking for a CYBERSECURITY EXERCISING AND READINESS ANALYST, based in our MADRID office.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING


As
Cybersecurity Exercising and Readiness Analyst, you will provide your expertise to the Global Cyber Readiness Team to improve their processes, being aligned with best practices and national and internal regulations, hugely impacting positively our incident response capability globally and across the Group.


You will have to face the challenge to define the Incident Response of the future, designing processes, procedures and cyber exercises focused on how to respond to incidents that impact Cloud Infrastructure, Supply Chain and Blockchain, among others.

We need somebody like you to provide value in different fronts:
Coordinate, plan and deliver a program of
Cyber exercises and wargames for technical teams.

  • Capabilitybuilding for business units and teams across the Group with cyber exercises of different levels of difficulty and involvement.
  • Broaden Cyber exercises Programme through new innovative initiatives based on gamification.
Building a best-in-class intelligence-led
incident response capability that rapidly responds to cyberattacks.


Test our cyber incident response processes based in best practices, from Incident Response Plans to more technical and specific Response Playbooks.

Determine strengths and opportunities in our teams to improve existing processes.

Advise and follow-up business units in different geographies on the creation and implementation of local cyber response processes.


Analytics leader:


Define, refine and implement incident handling & response, information assurance and CSIRT procedures and policies within the Incident Response Platform.

Creation of a metrics catalogue for senior management and regulators.

Perform statistical analysis and draw conclusions in periodic reports.


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

EXPERIENCE

  • 6+ months of experience in Cybersecurity Incident Response.

EDUCATION

  • Computer Engineering / Computer Science or similar
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Ability to interact with staff, peers, and business units on a technical and professional level.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Intercultural leadership.
  • Understanding of performance metrics.
  • Knowledge of Incident Response and Handling methodologies.
  • Knowledge of the most common cyber incident scenarios and strategies to mitigate their impacts.
  • Knowledge of cyberattack stages (e.g., reconnaissance, scanning, enumeration, gaining access, escalation of privileges, maintaining access, network exploitation, covering tracks).
  • Knowledge of business continuity and disaster recovery best practices.
  • Strong commitment, passion, proactivity and teamoriented nature are highly valued attributes
  • Advanced level of English and Spanish.
