About this opportunity


The Network Engineer is responsible for the implementation and operation of the global network, voice services and network security services.

This multifaceted role will drive and deliver against operational best practices and global standards.

The Network Engineer will be a knowledge and thought leader whose experience and expertise will help mentor team members. They will lead by example in all processes and procedures; identify and recommend improvements to existing operations and practices.


In this role, you will

  • Work in network and infrastructure team to deliver services and project objectives
  • Implement, manage and support of Palo Alto Firewalls including security polices, Global Protect VPN, routings and rules.
  • Implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, routers, switches and load balancers
  • Create and update network documentation
  • Utilize monitoring tools to provide visibility into network health and create proactive alerts
  • Must be selfmotivated with strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills
  • Possess ability to work dynamically, even during highpressure or productiondown situations
  • The ability to work and team effectively with clients, management, and vendors in a multitiered fast paced environment
  • The ability to resolve Incident and Service Request tickets and proactively followup with other technical service towers and 3rd party vendor teams for speed to resolution

In this role, you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, and IT or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 6 years proven experience working in a global enterprise network engineer role
  • To be an expert knowledge of TCP/IP
  • To have an indepth understanding of the OSI model
  • In depth experience utilizing enterprise monitoring and management tools
  • Expertise in configuring and troubleshooting NGFW solutions, preferably Palo Alto
  • Working experience with LAN protocols
  • STP, VLANs, LACP, VRFs, OSPF, BGP
  • Wide area network (WAN) experience working with ISPs and vendors a must
  • Wireless design and troubleshooting using controllerbased solutions
  • Experience with SD-WAN preferred
  • Experience with Cisco ISE or other NAC solutions preferred
  • Experience with networking in the major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience with automation tools and languages
  • Perform Tier III and Tier IV operational support as needed
