  • Supporting employees and managers in all HRrelated issues
  • Maintaining and updating employee data in time recording and HR systems
  • Answering questions on payroll accounting, income tax, salary changes, benefits
  • Preparation and evaluation of various personnel statistics
  • Preparation of evaluations within the scope of payroll accounting
  • Correspondence in the personnel area (preparation of contracts, contract amendments, etc.)
  • Correspondence with offices, authorities and health insurance companies
  • Monitoring of deadlines, e.g. probationary periods, fixedterm employment contracts, etc.
  • Preparation of certificates
  • Carrying out and ensuring a proper registry
  • Supporting local initiatives and measures, such as restructuring, staff training, information events, etc. Participating in global Smiths HR initiatives and projects that often require collaboration with different HR teams.

The Individual

  • Bachelor's Degree or recognized qualification as a human resources specialist or similar.
  • 12 years professional experience in human resources, preferably in a shared services / HR operations environment.
  • Preferred start date is 1st It is maternity leave cover 8 months.
  • Working hours: Full time job
    :Monday to Thursday from 08:15 to 05:00pm, (with half an hour for lunch).
    Friday from 08:15 to 15:45 (with also half an hour for lunch)
  • Ability to guide and support management in HR questions.
  • Knowledge of and experience with common HR systems
  • Confident handling of Microsoft Office
  • Good to very good knowledge of English and native Spanish.
  • Extremely accurate and structured way of working.
  • Ability to work in a team and organizational skills

Benefits:


  • Lunch in canteen from Monday to Friday for 1,70€ per day (this is applied to payroll directly).
  • Transport complement, this is a daily amount of 3,02€ or 1,49€ depending on the distance except Torrejon, where the office is based.
