Can you help us connecting people to 100% green energy?

What will you do?

You will be the responsible for the team that manages the operation of energy in the different physical power markets, for the whole Holaluz's portfolio.

You will also be responsible for managing the control center team.

You will be working with top colleagues to provide strategic analysis and insights to drive the strategic planning process.

We expect from you to support high priority and high impact strategic projects. These projects can be technological, operational, etc.

We need a professional who is eager to understand our organizational challenges and provide analysis and ideas on how to overcome them.

We expect from you to develop deep market and competitive insights and implement them to achieve the best possible result.

We also expect from you to contribute to the development of calculations, analysis, forecast and other daily business-related documents to be shared with other teams.

#SayThingsAsTheyAre is one of our values, we want to be clear and transparent in explaining what you will do during your first 6 months at Holaluz.

In 1 month:

Understand both the organizational and the team structure and be able to discern where to look for information.
Be able to understand the current power portfolio.
Be able to understand the current supplier and customer portfolio.
Be able to understand our 2023 goals and how to achieve them, as well as knowing what our current KPIs are.
Participate in the analysis of current ongoing projects.
Participate in the review and monitoring of current processes.

In 3 months:

Be able to manage the entire team, including the 24x7 operation team and the control center.
Be able to manage the power portfolio, understanding all current processes.
Be able to manage the portfolio of suppliers and customers autonomously, and the rest of stakeholders.
Manage the relationship with the rest of the teams, and being able to provide the information they need.
Be able to manage the kpi's table, focusing on those that are necessary and eliminating those that are not.
Manage the relation with the technical team(s) in order to investigate or execute projects.

Requirements:

What do we need?

Good ability to manage teams on a 24x7 shift.
Several years of experience in the physical electricity markets and control center.
Knowledge and experience working with software languages (like Python, R or similar)
Knowledge and experience with databases.
Experience working with business intelligence tools (like Power BI or similar).
Good ability to communicate with customers, suppliers and other stakehol
