The purpose of the role

This is a pivotal role providing a link from the customer to the Griffith Foods business.

You will be the daily company interface with your customers in order to ensure the proper orders process management from the entry to the execution.

The role includes an active involvement as well in several other areas as forecasting, customer demand information collection a regular information update of the orders supporting systems.


Responsibilities:


Order Execution and Management:


  • Enter all sales orders into ERP and follow through the system to dispatch and delivery of product to the customer.
  • Work closely with procurement, planning, quality assurance, dispatch and transport to ensure On Time in Full execution of deliveries.
  • Update the ERP with any change, amendment or cancelation of the orders.
  • Work closely with the sales team and procurement to ensure smooth order flow.

Customers Relationship Management:


  • Proactively establish regular connections with the supply contact person at the customers.
  • Collect information related to customer specific requirements and activity through the regular contacts.
  • Ensure that all information related to new products are accurately updated in the ERP in order to enable a smooth execution of the first orders.
  • Proactively work to optimize customer service levels and GF profitability.
  • Customers visits as required to meet key contacts.
  • Keeping the customer and GF updated on all relevant issues in a timely manner.
  • Support Account Manager forecasting by collecting information on customer's shortterm demand.

Other:


  • Interact regularly with the rest of the team in order to ensure back up within Customer Service during holidays & sickness.
  • Actively and visibly supports the Health and Safety standards, rules and regulations of the organization.
  • Record and monitor service levels in designated accounts.
  • Follow all procedures relating to inventory control to ensure we hold minimum stock.
  • Ensure that delistings are handled minimizing exposure to the Griffith organization.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience working in a Customer Service role preferably in the food industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Can work independently and as a part of a team.
  • Remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • The position will require working with ERP systems (previous experience working with an ERP would be valuable)
  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, gathers and analyses information skillfully. Develops alternative solutions. Works well in group problem solutions. Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.
  • Treats people with respect. Keeps commitments. Inspires the trust of others. Works with integrity and ethically.
  • Upholds organizational values.
  • Fluent level of English and French. Spanish and Italian would be valuable
