Financial Analyst (Remote)

  • Full time, based in Spain_
We help Business Travelers travel smart and achieve more. We are an organization that is service oriented, and we aim to continuously innovate our formula of success.

In this role, you will prepare the monthly financial reports and help management identify and understand the potential financial impact of various business issues, opportunities, and decisions.

Your main focus is on identifying gaps, risks, and opportunities to improve quality and margin. You are also involved in ad-hoc projects driving the growth and performance of Global Clients. You create a global network of internal stakeholders with an immediate impact on BCD Travel's largest customers. You will have the ability to manage your workload and align projects.

This role is different from other finance roles since it's fewer deadlines and monthly cycles, more quality assurance, and deep-in analysis.


As a Financial Analyst, you will

  • Review client contract terms to identify all relevant financial terms
  • Conduct calls with business leaders and/or sales, finance, or pricing teams for any additional details that might be required
  • Compare actual billing data to contract terms and identify any gaps, opportunities, or risks
  • Document and track all findings and resolution through various reporting formats
  • Support internal customers and the finance teams to ensure the implementation of changes to improve profitability

About you

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or a related field
  • Minimum of four years of experience in general accounting or another financial role
  • High level of accuracy, proactive and independent
  • Ability to set goals, prioritize, and complete tasks promptly while managing several reviews/audits at a time
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Spanish
  • Eager to learn and actively expand your knowledge
  • Able to communicate and interact at various levels
